ARC Excess & Surplus, LLC is pleased to announce that Stephen Cavallaro has been named President of Professional Risk Facilities, Inc.  Professional Risk Facilities, Inc. (PRF) is a Managing General Agent with underwriting authority, including quoting, binding and policy issuance for a broad range of Financial Products.  Stephen started at PRF back in May of 2001 and has effectively led PRF for the past 15 years.  Stephen is responsible for leading all aspects of PRF, including marketing the PRF MGA programs, setting the direction of PRF’s underwriting in coordination with PRF’s insurance company partners and managing the PRF team, which consists of 14 underwriters and administrative staff.

ARC Excess & Surplus, LLC is pleased to announce that Karen Unalp has been named Chief Compliance Officer & HR Director.  Karen heads the insurance compliance department where her team is responsible for managing and maintaining ARC’s insurance licenses and handling ARC’s surplus lines filings.  In addition, Karen is responsible for heading up the human resources department where she and her team will recommend and implement legally sound and effective human resource management programs, policies and practices.  Karen coordinates the strategic planning and implementation of human resource programs to include professional and administrative staffing, wage and salary administration, leave administration, performance appraisal and employee relations.

As Director of Finance, John will have a broad range of responsibilities, including managing ARC’s treasury function to improve the management of incoming and outgoing cash flows, formalizing cash projections, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to identify key performance indicators to enhance the business, overseeing budgets and forecasts, spearheading the transition and implementation to a new accounting platform (accounting seed) and improving internal controls and overall efficiencies in the accounting and financial reporting functions.

In this role Janet will lead the team of claims professionals and will be responsible for management of and strategies relating to claims handling across all Executive Risk Lines for ARC’s clientele. In addition, Janet will serve as a resource to ARC’s business partners lending her expertise and experience. Janet previously held the position of Associate General Counsel and Senior Claims Counsel.
