ARC Excess & Surplus, LLC is pleased to announce that Stephen Cavallaro has been named President of Professional Risk Facilities, Inc. Professional Risk Facilities, Inc. (PRF) is a Managing General Agent with underwriting authority, including quoting, binding and policy issuance for a broad range of Financial Products. Stephen started at PRF back in May of 2001 and has effectively led PRF for the past 15 years. Stephen is responsible for leading all aspects of PRF, including marketing the PRF MGA programs, setting the direction of PRF’s underwriting in coordination with PRF’s insurance company partners and managing the PRF team, which consists of 14 underwriters and administrative staff.
Under Stephen’s leadership, PRF has grown to over $80MM in gross annual premiums through underwriting a broad range of management and professional liability insurance products such as Private Company Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Tech E&O, Cyber Liability, Media Liability, Insurance Agents and Brokers Professional Liability and Employed Lawyers Professional Liability. Stephen has managed these programs on behalf of PRF’s carrier partners – Axis, CN A and Vault.
Stephen graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a minor in Economics where he also was the captain of the Oswego Hockey Team. Stephen has received the Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation granted by the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) in May of 2012.
