ARC Excess & Surplus is pleased to announce that Janet Dreifuss has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Claims Officer effective immediately. In this role Janet will lead the team of claims professionals and will be responsible for management of and strategies relating to claims handling across all Executive Risk Lines for ARC’s clientele. In addition, Janet will serve as a resource to ARC’s business partners lending her expertise and experience. Janet previously held the position of Associate General Counsel and Senior Claims Counsel.
Janet is an active industry leader and frequent speaker at insurance and claims management forums. Janet has served as past Chair of the Eastern Chapter of PLUS, as Co-Chair of the D&O Symposium and currently serves as a member of the PLUS Conference Committee. In addition she is an active member and mentor for The Bridge Transcends.
Janet has over 20 years of Executive Risk Liability Insurance experience and has held various claims and management positions with both insurance and national brokerage firms. Janet received her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and received a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany.
